A recent PC Place repair job involved a customer who brought in her computer after she first took it to a
well known shop in the Portsmouth area. She had been told specifically that her hard drive needed to be
replaced and there was no hope of getting back the thousands of music files and pictures she and her
daughters had saved for the last 3 years. Plus, they charged her $175 to get her computer back ..
in the SAME state as when it came in. NO repairs done!
Enter PC PLACE.
Four days and no less than SIX data recovery scans later, ALL the files were back and the
original hard drive was running smoothly again. A true story (email me for more details).

Recovering pictures, music, and other important files after they've been accidentally deleted, or from a
non-functioning hard drive, takes longer than any other other process. This is one reason that a
computer shop may purposely tell a customer: "Sorry, your hard drive is DEAD .. all your files are gone and
they can't be retrieved. But, we have a brand new hard drive here we can sell you .."
They simply do not have the time or bench space to spare waiting countless hours for a data recovery program to
retrieve and save your files. Sometimes it takes several tries and even different programs to get the job done.
That can run into DAYS.

This is not a problem at PC Place. Everything possible will be attempted to get your precious files back ..
no matter HOW long it takes.
